Abstract
:
This research aims to identify the artistic and aesthetic values of the drawings of autistic children at the age of 6-12, digitize the autistic children's drawings through computer software to design printed fabrics for children's clothing, and measure the degree to which experts and children's mothers accept the designs developed from the autistic children's drawings to be marketed locally. The significance of the research is that it highlights the features and properties of autistic children's drawings to utilize and apply them in the area of clothing and textiles. In addition, it provides human support and promotes the artistic values and skills of autistic children in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. It also helps autistic children to express their emotions through enhancing their interaction with the artworks and encouraging them to bring out creative work. Moreover, it enrich creative thinking and develop artistic designs, decorations and printings to create digitized designs from autistic children's drawings. The study adopted the descriptive analytical research, which included the analysis and characterization of aesthetic values and features of autistic children's drawings and exploring the opinions of experts and mothers on a collection of designs proposed in the research. In addition, the study used the applied research through digitizing autistic children's drawings to provide designs for printed fabrics used in children's clothing. The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences at a significance level of 0.05,0.01 between the 20 designs proposed by the researcher based on the experts' opinions on the appropriateness of the designs in meeting the aesthetic and functional elements. In addition, there were statistically significant differences at a significance level of 0.05,0.01 between the 20 designs proposed by the researcher based on the mother's views on the appropriateness of designs in meeting the aesthetic and functional elements. The study recommended that more research be conducted on the drawings and arts of children with special needs; more support be provided for those children and utilize their drawings and arts to enable them to earn income, make investment and feel engaged in the society; new designs of autistic children's drawings be created and utilized in fabric printing; and training programs be provided in the field of textile design and printing in order to prepare designers of various styles for the job market. key words: Digital processing - drawings for autistic children - children's drawings - textile design.
